Crucible Policy: AI-Generated Art in Event Promotion

Effective September 25, 2026

1. Why we’re doing this

Our community is full of artists, photographers, designers, and performers. We want the Crucible’s promotion to reflect and support that kind of human creativity, not replace it.

2. The policy

The Crucible account will no longer create, post, or promote party posters or event graphics that use AI-generated art. That includes images made with generators like Ideogram, Midjourney, DALL·E, Claude, or similar tools.

3. What’s still allowed

We may still use standard editing and enhancement tools on original or properly licensed art and photography. That covers Canva and Photoshop features for editing, cleanup, resizing, and animation. AI can help polish art a person made, but it won’t be the artist.

4. Existing posters

Posters we’ve already shared will stay up. All new promotion from the Crucible account will follow this policy from here on.

5. Scope

This policy covers art the Crucible account creates and promotes.

Thank you for helping us keep the Crucible a space built by and for our creative community.
