Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes to make The Crucible the fun and sexy place you come to play? Are you interested in giving back to your kink community but can't commit to regular volunteer shifts? Here's your chance!

If you are interested in helping us clean, organize, and revitalize the club we are looking for volunteers to help out during the club work day from 2 to 6 pm. No special skills are needed and all hands are welcome to help. Please wear close-toed shoes for safety.

In the January edition of Making Waves SensualSadist21 will be presenting Percussion Impact Play.

It will be a combination of impact play with regular toys and also toys that can be kinkified. lol. Matching the play to music in the playspace or in the privacy of your own place. Creating a rhythmic feel to the play.

SensualSadist21 has been involved in the public lifestyle for over 14 years. Having lived in both NJ/PA/DE and VA/DC/MD regions, he got to learn from amazing people over the years. He feels that giving back to the community is important , so he contributes his time & energy as a volunteer/staff member for several regional/chosen organizations.

SensualSadist21 is a dominant, a sensualist, a sadist, a daddy, an owner. Depending on the energy with his play partner, he can happily deliver a soft & sensual experience or a rough & intense scene. While he enjoys many kink activities, playing with knives is probably the most enjoyable. He loves sensual knife play (aka non-cutting knife play) with his personal collection of 90+ blades, ranging from small playful ones to daggers to machetes. He also enjoys bondage, mummification, sensory deprivation, flogging & impact play, spanking, sensation play, rough body play, and interrogations/kidnappings. If you can name it, he's probably done it or thought about including it.

After class, the dungeon will be open for practice. Making Waves does not provide toys for practice, please negotiate your own situation. We will have hanging targets available. There is no limit to the type of impact you can practice at our skillshare, nothing is out of whack!

On BR Social nights, The Crucible will admit BR members at the same rate as Crucible members ($25 members/$35 guests).

A wild new play party has just been unleashed at The Crucible. From the creators of Lights Out, Barks Out comes Animal Haus, a monthly music and play event centered at the intersection of pet play and kink. DJs will be spinning all night long, while attendees can explore The Crucible’s 6,000 square feet of play space. Fursuiters, Pups, and petplayers from all around the DMV can expect a fun, consent based, unforgettable evening.

Animal Haus is a break from LOBO’s usual event (held on the second saturday at The Green Lantern). While you can still expect the same caliber of music and excitement, Animal Haus is centered on bringing together folks from all different communities to play, dance, and
connect in a way that is solely unique to The Crucible. In this members-only space, nudity and open play is allowed, and occasionally LOBO will feature demo stations so folks can get a taste of different flavors of Kink.

This event is 21+ and will have a bar. While there is no formal coat check, there is a coat/gear/tote/etc room to hold any of your gear or bags (first come first serve). The Crucible features a dance floor, seating area, lounge, 2 private rooms, a semi private space, and a huge dungeon space packed with furniture to help fulfill any fantasy.

Please note you must be a member or a guest of a member to attend. One member per guest allowed, guests may only be guested in twice before we ask that they purchase a membership. Memberships are $40 a year and can be purchased from the-crucible.com. Membership must be purchased in advance of attending any event at The Crucible.
