On BR Social nights, The Crucible will admit BR members at the same rate as Crucible members ($25 members/$35 guests).

Join us at 9pm for socialization and light refreshments. Open play starts whenever and lasts until the doors close.

Making Waves is delighted to have our first ever play party spotlighting heavy impact! Bring out your mop floggers, your boxing gloves, your meanest canes and your appetite for impact to The Crucible on July 31st from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. for an 18+ night! We have a dungeon equipped with enough furniture to make IKEA blush, special showcase scenes and a great playlist for you to smack, whack and crack to! Given that our night is 18+ there will be no alcohol served.

Are you new and looking for a Friendly Face? Let us introduce you to @JerseyJenny, @Murci, and @Chaotic-Elle. They’ll be wearing a greeter sash, and can walk you through club etiquette and party questions. You’ll even see our event organizers @thatgrayguy and @Mr_Absurd_DC sporting sashes to make sure our Friendly Faces get in some fun too!

The main stage will be roped off for our showcase scenes. Look for @B_Profane and @Pinky in our first showcase scene, followed by @BigBlackMichael (with surprise guest!) as show off for us. Be on the lookout for those scenes!

Please note that there will be limited space for non-impact scenes, but we’ll have a small number of mats out.

MATRIARXY is a play-party and mixer for Dommes, Alpha femmes and all who adore and admire us.

More than just an event; we are a movement, cultivating a vibrant community rooted in respect, consent and the joyful expression of femme sovereignty.

•    MATRIARXY with an “X” intentionally and explicitly invites and affirms all femme-aligned identities, not limited to binary definitions of gender, to embrace and express their dominance.
•    Femme sovereignty meaning – femmes (women and femme-aligned individuals) are recognized as the rightful leaders and curators of the space.

MATRIARXY is for:

•    Experienced Dommes and Alpha femmes seeking a high-energy playground
•    New and emerging Dommes and Alpha femmes ready to explore and express their power
•    Submissives and bottoms of all varieties seeking to socialize and play with Dommes and Alpha femmes

MATRIARXY key rules:

•    No pay-for-play or transactional discussions allowed.
•    Play is encouraged but never guaranteed.
•    Only femme-identifying TOPS during MATRIARXY events.
•    All may "bottom", regardless of gender identity.

A wild new play party has just been unleashed at The Crucible. From the creators of Lights Out, Barks Out comes Animal Haus, a monthly music and play event centered at the intersection of pet play and kink. DJs will be spinning all night long, while attendees can explore The Crucible’s 6,000 square feet of play space. Fursuiters, Pups, and petplayers from all around the DMV can expect a fun, consent based, unforgettable evening.

Animal Haus is a break from LOBO’s usual event (held on the second saturday at The Green Lantern). While you can still expect the same caliber of music and excitement, Animal Haus is centered on bringing together folks from all different communities to play, dance, and
connect in a way that is solely unique to The Crucible. In this members-only space, nudity and open play is allowed, and occasionally LOBO will feature demo stations so folks can get a taste of different flavors of Kink.

This event is 21+ and will have a bar. While there is no formal coat check, there is a coat/gear/tote/etc room to hold any of your gear or bags (first come first serve). The Crucible features a dance floor, seating area, lounge, 2 private rooms, a semi private space, and a huge dungeon space packed with furniture to help fulfill any fantasy.

Please note you must be a member or a guest of a member to attend. One member per guest allowed, guests may only be guested in twice before we ask that they purchase a membership. Memberships are $40 a year and can be purchased from the-crucible.com. Membership must be purchased in advance of attending any event at The Crucible.
