This month we will be taking a night to celebrate bondage, in all of its wonderful forms.

On BR Social nights, The Crucible will admit BR members at the same rate as Crucible members ($25 members/$35 guests).

 You must be a Crucible or Black Rose member or the guest of one to attend. All attendees must show ID.

This is an 18+ night; no alcohol will be sold or permitted. 

A wild new play party has just been unleashed at The Crucible. From the creators of Lights Out, Barks Out comes Animal Haus, a monthly music and play event centered at the intersection of pet play and kink. DJs will be spinning all night long, while attendees can explore The Crucible’s 6,000 square feet of play space. Fursuiters, Pups, and petplayers from all around the DMV can expect a fun, consent based, unforgettable evening.

Animal Haus is a break from LOBO’s usual event (held on the second saturday at The Green Lantern). While you can still expect the same caliber of music and excitement, Animal Haus is centered on bringing together folks from all different communities to play, dance, and
connect in a way that is solely unique to The Crucible. In this members-only space, nudity and open play is allowed, and occasionally LOBO will feature demo stations so folks can get a taste of different flavors of Kink.

This event is 21+ and will have a bar. While there is no formal coat check, there is a coat/gear/tote/etc room to hold any of your gear or bags (first come first serve). The Crucible features a dance floor, seating area, lounge, 2 private rooms, a semi private space, and a huge dungeon space packed with furniture to help fulfill any fantasy.

Please note you must be a member or a guest of a member to attend. One member per guest allowed, guests may only be guested in twice before we ask that they purchase a membership. Memberships are $40 a year and can be purchased from the-crucible.com. Membership must be purchased in advance of attending any event at The Crucible.

All attendees must show government-issued photo ID.

Yes, whips can be soft and sensual. This workshop aims to explore the energy and techniques of throwing a soft and sensual whip. Even with the heavy strikes, it can still be soft. We will learn how to build up the intensity and sensuality of a scene, how to add connection with your bottom, and the safety around using single tail whips.

Madame Amo is a ProDomme from Philly who is an all around Impact play enthusiast delivering pain with pleasure is one of her deepest pleasures. She has been throwing whips for seven years and using them in scenes for five years.

After class, the dungeon will be open for practice. Making Waves does not provide toys for practice, please negotiate your own situation. We will have hanging targets available. There is no limit to the type of impact you can practice at our skillshare, nothing is out of whack!
